This is what took me back to our editorial discussions during the US attack on the Taleban in Afghanistan in 2001. I was working at World Service at that time and in one morning editorial meeting we were debating what the US strategy in Afghanistan was and what impact American action would have, when one of our specialists on the Middle East made the point that the Americans were in Afghanistan because al Qaeda had attacked the US in an operation that had clearly been in the pipeline for some time it was al Qaeda that had set the agenda, if you like. He said we should not forget that al Qaeda or the Taleban could be planning further attacks which could help set the news agenda again..
Jp20sd I think I get what you are saying, and if I am right about your implication, I totally agree. If Christians are doing foolish and evil things and then using the Jesus card as their license to act stupid, I agree that they deserve a sarcastic response, but please help me understand what you heard in this young ladies interview or blog that made you feel she deserved such a response. Scott, hope your bowel movements are regular, but I think that this began not by someone trying to prove the existance of God.
I cleaned my fermenter really well (no soap, just hot water) and just poured the four bottles into the fermented and left it in a top cabinet for a week. After about that time, a thin, creamy layer of scoby started forming. Then I added maybe a gallon of sweet tea to it and left it another week..
Last winter, Sony presented a rather mysterious “mockup” of its new camera at a trade show in Tokyo, leading to speculation that Sony was ready to take on Canon and Nikon in the high end professional DSLR market.Ichiro Takagi, deputy president of Sony’s Digital Imaging Group, explained the A700 was not the “flagship” model, but what he called “the middle class” model. The flagship or professional model was still in the planning stage and Takagi said he could not give any further information.Even though the presentation was for a group of journalists and professional photographers, the Sony marketing staff stuck to their message track that the A700 was aimed at the “high amateur consumer.”One of the Sony presenters told me after the session that the company was also looking at the semi professional market, including wedding photographers and part time pros, but he emphasized that the A700 was an “amateur” camera.Sony’s marketers have visions of the “high amateur consumer” taking photographs with the cameras and then displaying them for friends and family on the PhotoTVHD. It appears, therefore, that Sony is carefully planning its entry into the high end camera market and keeping its plans for a professional camera very close to its corporate chest. At the moment Canon, with the release just a couple of weeks ago of the EOS IDs Mark III, has a lot of the professional market sewn up an area where, for the moment, Sony cannot compete. With the release of the A700, Sony appears to be aiming at a marketing level just below the Canon EOS ID series.
